Carnegie Hall

Two Center Balcony tickets to an upcoming performance on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 8:00PM. Part of the Violin Virtuosos series at Carnegie Hall, Sarah Chang will perform Beethoven's Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 9 in A Major, Op. 47, "Kreutzer", Richard Danielpour's River of Light (NY Premiere) and Prokofiev's Sonata for Violin and Piano in D Major, Op. 94bis, accompanied by Ashley Wass on piano.

Only 25 years old, violinist Sarah Chang has already conquered the world of classical music. She has collaborated with all the major orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and Amsterdam's Concertgebouw. Her remarkable accomplishments were recognized in 1999 when—at age 19—she received the Avery Fisher Prize, one of the most prestigious awards given to instrumentalists.
