Beth Kurtz
Beth Kurtz was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. After graduating from Sweet Briar College, she moved to New York to pursue a career in ballet and theater. She began to paint after her retirement from dance and is largely self-taught, with help from Roberts Howard of the online Cennini Forum, the sculptor Anthony Antonios and the painter David Kassan. Beth is currently a member of the Salmagundi Club, where she has recently won several awards. She is a life member of the Art Students League, and former Vice President of the West Side Arts Coalition. Her work can be seen at bethkurtz.com.
