Ingrid Edwards
Ingrid Edwards studied art at New York University, Cleveland Institute of Art, National Academy School of Fine Arts in New York and the Art Students League. She headed the Art Department at the Kent Place School in Summit New Jersey from 1978-1985. She has had nine solo shows including one in 2007 at the Broome Street Gallery in New York and her work has been shown in many group exhibitions as well. She has received numerous awards, including the Founders Day Award from New York University and first place for a portrait at the New Jersey Center for Visual arts. She also paints portraits on commission from life or photographs.
