Kathleen Lee

 Kathleen Erin Lee is a plein air landscape, seascape and cityscape painter who also creates portraits of people and animals. Her sports paintings, particularly of runners, combine the runner and the land or cityscape with equal force. A graduate of C.W. Post College, BA in Art History, she also has studied at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League. Her travels have taken her to the Greek Islands, Ireland, France, Mexico, and throughout the United states to paint plein air scenes. In 2006 she was awarded a residency in Aland Islands, Finland . She is represented by several galleries northeast and has held solo shows in New York City. Prior to becoming a full-time painter she had a successful career with the Children’s Television Workshop including traveling throughout Europe and Asia creating Sesame Street products with licensees.
