Karl Pilato
Karl Pilato, who creates paintings, drawings and prints, received an MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and a BA from the Maryland Institute of Art. His work appears frequently in galleries and is in collections held by the Gilkey Center for Graphic Arts (OR); Sitka Center for Art and Ecology (OR) the Capital One Corporation. (VA), Trump Tower (NY), etc. as well as private collections. Cover art includes Half Wild: Poems by Mary Rose O’Reilly (LSU Press 2006). He was artist-in-residence Winter/Spring 2002 at the itka Center for Art and Ecology in a printmaking collaboration with master printer Julia D’Amario.
