Lotus Do Brooks
Lotus Do Brooks is an artist and art educator with specializations in watercolor, drawing and portraiture. A BFA graduate of Cooper Union with an MSAE from the Massachusetts College of Art, she is regularly represented in gallery exhibitions across the United States and abroad; her work is in museum collections including the Asian American Art Center, NYC; Guangshou Academy of Fine Arts in China; and American Samoan Museum in Pago Pago as well as other public and private collections. She is on the faculty of the National Academy School of Fine Arts and the Dalton School in New York City. After a recent tour to focus on Himalayan Art in India, she has produced a curriculum for the Rubin Museum of Art. She is the illustrator of Modern Publisher’s 2004 edition of Anne of Green Gables.
