Patricia Leighton
Patricia Leighton is a New York based environmental artist known internationally for her massive sculptured site-specific earthworks in Scotland, Wales, England and the United States. She received a BA degree from Edinburgh College of Art with a specialization in Drawing and Painting. Her MA is from the Poznan School of Fine Art, Poland. She has won many awards and grants for her work including a Pollack-Krasner Foundation Grant, Northern Arts Award (England) and Scottish Arts Council Awards. Galleries and museum have featured her smaller sculpture and drawings. Patricia Leighton: Monuments to Nature was published by Jahr-Gruppe (2002).
