Peter B. Moore
Peter B. Moore received a box camera when he was ten years old and within two years had his first public exhibition at the Hayden Planetarium with a series of photographs of the moon and stars. Best known for his photographs of nature, more recently he has created a “Catching the Moment” series of impromptu scenes of un-posed people in the public space outside the Guggenheim Museum. Both corporate and individual collectors in the United States, France and Switzerland hold his photographs. Today he works with a NikonD200 camera using an 18-200 mm lens and in his signature panoramic views retains his interest in capturing images from a great distance.
